Welcome to 8th Grade Science! My aim as a teacher is to provide students with a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, exploration, and collaboration. My goal is for students to have a deeper conceptual understanding of the topics we will cover and to engage in inquiry-based activities where students will ask questions and share new ideas while practicing scientific methods. This year we will be focusing on Physical Science. This will include a focus on matter, atoms and elements, how matter interacts, and various forces, motions, and forms of energy. Activities will include projects, lab activities, discussions, and research. I look forward to this year together!
