Welcome to 7th Grade Science! My aim as a teacher is to provide students with a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, exploration, and collaboration. My goal is for students to have a deeper conceptual understanding of the topics we will cover and to engage in inquiry-based activities where students will ask questions and share new ideas while practicing scientific methods. This year we will be focusing on Earth and Space Science. This will include a focus on astronomy, the Earth’s components and natural phenomena, as well as weather and climate. Activities will include classwork, projects, lab activities, discussions, and research. I look forward to this year together!
